Digital Construction Week to showcase new Innovation Centre

  • 12 Sep 2017

The Construction Scotland Innovation Centre, the UK’s first factory dedicated to digital fabrication and innovation in construction, has been officially launched this week.

IMG_0146_FotorThe £3m centre will enable construction businesses and collaboration projects of all sizes to access its 30,000 sq. ft. of workspace.

Stephen Good, chief executive of the centre, hopes that the Innovation Factory will allow construction innovation to increase further and inspire people within the industry to think outside of the box.

The centre benefits from state-of-the-art production and prototyping equipment and technology for testing and developing new products, processes, systems and solutions. In addition, collaboration facilities allow organisations to share knowledge and information in private.

The factory will showcase its expertise and equipment as part of Digital Construction Week from October 18-19, at London’s ExCeL. Register for a free Digital Construction Week pass here.
