The app, Openow, allows SMARTair users to open doors with their mobile phone.
The app will increase flexibility and security, as access credentials can be granted, revoked and updated instantly, from wherever the user may be. Therefore, facilities managers, security administrators and business owners can have better control of access.
Not only does this increase security, but it can also helps save time, as there is no need for users to collect or validate a physical access card.
Fast and easy to install, information transferred between the software, smartphone App and the SMARTair device is protected by end-to-end encryption.
Alan Kent, Access Control Manager and SMARTair Specialist, comments on the launch of Openow: “Users will immediately find out how convenient Openow is to use. Individual access rights for our SMARTair system can be instantly admitted, withdrawn, or changed on the go, enhancing security while delivering the flexibility needed to amend a site’s access control at any time. Access rights can also be granted for a limited time period only; a feature that many will find useful.”
The SMARTair Openow app is available to download now for free from Apple’s App Store and the Google Play Store.
