Geberit has appointed Joe Milkins as Specification Sales Manager in the South West.
In his new role, Joe will be responsible for building strong relationships with architects and developers, while working to maiximise awareness of Geberit’s full product offering amongst those in the sector.
Bringing a host of local knowledge, Joe will also oversee new business development across the South West, reporting into Specification Sales Director, Gael Temple.
The news follows an exciting period for Geberit, which has seen its innovation pipeline ramp up over the past year.
Recent launches include a new a range of products, from stylish flush plates and an upgraded bathroom range to a new white paper outlining the pioneering ‘The Science Behind The Sensory Space’ campaign.
Before joining Geberit, Joe spent nine years in the building and construction industry, most recently as National Sales Manager for Estimators Online.
In that time, he managed a national territory comprising of more than 27,000 builder customers, along with 2,500 builders’ merchants’ outlets, ensuring each user received a professional estimating service and first-class customer service.
Joe was also responsible for helping maintain and manage a database of over 10,000 architects, while also supporting building contractors with the procurement of materials and managing a team of territory sales managers.
Joe began his career working as a self-employed contractor, working commercially across the South West. He has always had a keen interest in construction and property, having recently completed renovating his 4th project and is planning to take on another in the future.
