ROCKWOOL, the leader in stone wool insulation, has appointed Mark Bungay as its new Commercial Director.
Mark steps up to the role from the position of National Sales Manager DIY & Merchants, a post he has held at ROCKWOOL for almost three years.
His responsibility will be for directing sales strategy across merchant, distribution and specification channels to support the company’s national sales teams, partners and specifiers whilst overseeing business growth in rainscreen, fire, HVAC, flat roof and home applications.
Mark possesses over 20 years’ building and construction experience, which will prove vital, having previously worked in senior sales roles at major brands, including Richard Burbidge and Black & Decker.
Mark commented: “ROCKWOOL is in a good place in the market and it’s my job to make sure we work closely with our customers and build partnerships to fully maximise our potential.
“We have an excellent and diverse range of stone wool insulation solutions for the whole building. The growing demand for insulation that performs from a fire safety and sound insulation perspective plays to ROCKWOOL’s strengths.
“We also have plenty to say on energy saving, speed and ease of fit, sustainability and other issues facing specifiers, contractors and builders.
“I’m looking forward to working with our supporters throughout the industry to grow the ROCKWOOL brand and our business.”
Manufactured from sustainable, naturally occurring volcanic rock, ROCKWOOL’s range of stone wool insulation solutions are ideally suited to multiple applications within a single building, helping to minimise noise transfer, cut energy consumption and enhance fire safety for all occupants.
