Construction Productivity Conference

Sharing Insights On Maximising Productivity and Output in the Built Environment

  • 7 Nov 2019

Pressure is intensifying around the construction industry as we enter a period of significant growth, fuelled by the government’s ambitious target to provide 300,000 new homes by the mid-2020s.

On top of this, the construction industry must deliver major infrastructure projects such as HS2, Thames Tideway, Hinckley Point, Crossrail 2, and the Heathrow Third Runway.

Other industries have clearly demonstrated how adopting new technologies can play a major part in modernisation but with only 64% of hours worked considered productive – the construction industry is showing little signs of improvement.

The Construction Productivity Conference at the De Vere, Canary Wharf, on 21 November, will offer insight into strategies that can overcome the growing concerns surrounding productivity in the built environment.
