MGMA adds an additional two CPDs to its online portfolio

The Metal Gutter Manufacturers Association (MGMA) has added two further CPDs to its portfolio of online CPDs on its website, covering aluminium and cast iron rainwater systems respectively.

The CPD, entitled Focus on standard aluminium rainwater systemsprovides the user with best practice advice on the selection and installation of aluminium rainwater systems.

The CPD covers the environmental benefits of aluminium, the manufacturing process and the importance of the correct specification of material grade and paint finishes for a particular application.

The CPD, entitled Focus on cast iron rainwater systemsoffers best practice advice on the selection and installation of cast iron rainwater systems.

In addition, the CPD illustrates the range of profiles available; gives guidance on correct jointing techniques and on the choice of finish coatings for specific applications.

The course material can be studied offline and has an online assessment component to verify knowledge. Both modules represent 60 minutes of professional development and following successful completion of the CPD, a certificate is available for immediate download and can be printed for the user’s personal records. The CPDs are accredited by the CPD Certification Service.
