SIG Design & Technology extends online CPD seminars

SIG Design & Technology has now added more dates to its programme of free online RIBA approved CPD seminars; delivered by SIG Design & Technology’s specification managers, the four presentations, cover a range of roofing and cladding topics including roof specification, natural slate, roof refurbishment and hard metals.

Working in the current climate, SIG has adapted how it is working and looking at how technology can help them to support their customers.

The four seminars you can choose from are as follows:

 – Mondays at 1pm: A Structured Approach to Roof Specification and Design aims to increase specifiers confidence by following a step by step process to identifying the correct solution for your roof and introduce a range of waterproofing systems. to ask.  – Tuesdays at 1pm: Natural Slate for Roofing: Effective Specification focuses on solving real issues through correct specification. The CPD will discuss the slate production process and why this matters and how to achieve the appearance and performance you require from your product.  – Wednesdays at 1pm: Roof Refurbishment: Choosing the Best Solution is a simple and structural approach to understanding the flat roof refurbishment process, what to expect from a roof survey, how the condition of the roof affects design decisions and finding the best solution for clients.  Sign up link: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/rt/2460250032802609163

 – Thursdays at 1pm: Specifying Hard Metals: Choosing the Right Product for the Project – aims to help specifiers demystify the confusion surrounding hard metal specification. It offers practical advice on hard metal options. guidance on relevant construction methods and explains how to factor out common problems through best practice. All the seminars last approximately an hour and count for double points for architects and architectural assistants. Attendees will also get the opportunity to ask questions to the presenter throughout the webinar. On completion of the course, CPD certificates can be sent out via email on request.
