Experts from leading paint manufacturer Crown Paints’ specification team recently took part in an industry first – the virtual Procurement for Housing (PfH) Live event with the Chartered Institute of Housing, which was held entirely online this month.
Crown Paints has supported PfH Live & Housing, which is Europe’s largest housing festival, for a number of years and this year was no exception, as Crown exhibited at the online event on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September.
Crown’s exhibition ‘stand’ was a bespoke webpage, packed full of information about its high-performance products, all of which are designed to help specifiers working in the social housing sector create colourful, cost-effective and high-quality decoration schemes.
Products such as Crown Trade’s Timonox range, a flame retardant paint system that inhibits the spread of fire and can help housing providers comply to the relevant fire and safety standards, were highlighted.
Other innovative products showcased virtually included Crown Trade’s Clean Extreme range of highly durable and scrubbable paints, which have been developed to tackle to the common maintenance problems of stains, mould and bacteria.
Crown highlighted its Home Decorating Scheme, which is tailored specifically for the housing sector and is available for delivery via the nationwide network of Crown Decorating Centres.
Anyone who virtually stops by Crown’s stand for information were able to chat via the webpage to Crown’s specification experts, Michael Anderson, national sales development manager and Ian Lealand, business development manager.
They answered all queries the visitors had, from specific product questions to information about Crown’s impressive sustainability credentials and the company’s housing services.
