Updated list of MGMA guidance documents

  • 31 Mar 2021

The MGMA produces guidance documents to educate specifiers and contractors on the type of metal rainwater systems available.

Their application, superior life expectancy and unbeatable value over other material alternatives also feature in the documents.

The roof drainage system is vital to the overall roof design and design process. The correct selection of materials can be complex.

The recommendation is that, in addition to reading the guidance documents, the designer consults an MGMA member for advice.

MGMA Note

Manufacturers are in the best position to offer advice about their particular products. Be sure to closely follow their published data.

This is because any variation from their data during the design or construction process could result in the component or system failing prematurely or not complying with the guarantee or warranty conditions.

If there is any uncertainty about the use or application of a product or system, refer back to the manufacturer for in-depth written advice.
