As part of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown, on 12 April, REHAU will be re–opening its central London Hub at The Building Centre.
Here, the aim will be on renewing the focus on smart technology and its influence on sustainability.
Known for its many high-performing polymer products, REHAU’s solutions can be found in most high-profile buildings.
Sustainability acts as a driving force within REHAU’s global strategy, with the business recently turning its attention to the role of smart technology in sustainable cities.
REHAU’s latest smart building solutions include the NEA Smart 2.0 underfloor heating controls, the RE.GUARD leak detection unit, and a number of concepts for a suite of smart window solutions to aid security, ventilation, privacy and thermal protection.
Visitors to the Hub will be able to meet with Customer Brand Host Eirini Charalambous, to discover more about these new products.
The REHAU Hub is a central location that brings together REHAU’s range of construction solutions. It provides education, training and a showroom for professionals involved with the design, specification and installation of building solutions.
REHAU is encouraging professionals to visit the new and improved space, while taking advantage of the Building Centre’s popular café and alfresco dining space for face-to-face networking within government guidelines.
Stephen Beresford, Head of Marketing at REHAU, comments on the re–opening: “It is more apparent than ever that our built landscape needs to evolve to meet our new ways of living and working.
“However, in order to advance further, become smarter, greener, healthier, we need to foster true collaboration across our industry.
“The Building Centre is a fantastic space for consultants, specifiers and architects to collaborate. I know many of our customers are eager to reconnect with our industry in a physical environment and we are more than happy to host in a COVID safe environment.”
Visitors to The Hub will also be able to see the wider Building Centre exhibitions, such as ‘Conversations about Climate Change’ and ‘What is the Built Environment, and why does it matter’.
In an announcement last year, REHAU was named one of the ’50 sustainability and climate leaders worldwide’ – an accolade Steve says the company is ‘extremely proud of’.
“Smart technology should be viewed as a catalyst for a better built environment and so we are continually investing in new technology to help aid efficiency of natural resources. We’d love to meet with professionals who share these views,” he adds.
