Infection Control

Whether doors are faced with Polyrey’s Sanitized® laminate or PVC wrapping, they incorporate antibacterial properties throughout their construction (not just a surface coating), therefore eliminating 99.9% of bacteria.

Compatible Ironmongery

Doorsets come with factory-fitted, fully compatible hardware as standard, including protection plates, locks, flush bolts and signage.

Accessibility

Providing equal access for disabled people is a necessity in public building design. For those who are visually impaired, this requires adequate visual contrast between building surfaces and their surrounding areas, which can be measured using the light reflectance value (LVR) scale.

To achieve this, coloured laminates and PVC facings can be used to differentiate between doors, frames, ironmongery and their surroundings.

Larger hospitals can be notoriously difficult to navigate, therefore, colour coded doors can feature, as part of a wayfinding system.
