Technical experts from Engineered Panels in Construction (EPIC) will be attending the Fire Safety Event in NEC Birmingham.

They will be at Stand 4/M110 from the 7 – 9 September 2021. EPIC will also be delivering a presentation on the fire safety performance of insulated panel systems.

The Fire Safety Event aims to bring together key parties, from government officials through to manufacturers, to share the latest insights, solutions, and products to support the improvement of the industry.

EPIC

EPIC’s presentation will be held in the Fire Safety Theatre (P100) on 7 September at 12.45pm. It will outline the current Building Regulations, different testing regimes and the fire performance of insulated panel systems which have large-scale insurer backed testing.

It will also give an overview of real fire case studies demonstrating the performance of LPCB approved insulated panels. Members will be available throughout the event at stand M110 in Hall 4, between the Fire Safety Theatre and the Tall Buildings Theatre, to answer any questions about insulated panel systems.

The stand will also include an insulated panel sample rig, screens showing short, informative videos, and a selection of QR codes to allow for easy access to EPIC guidance documents.
