James Latham, one of the UK’s largest independent trade distributors of timber, panels and decorative surfaces, has won a coveted award from the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) for its design and collaborative efforts to develop an exterior cladding range with outstanding performance.
The business won the Product Design in Wood Award, sponsored by Teknos, which celebrates excellence in technical innovation, design and application in joinery product manufacture within the woodworking sector.
The BWF Awards recognises and rewards the best of woodworking and joinery sector, with six categories rewarding technical innovation, health & safety, design and process efficiency achievements and the rising stars of the industry.
James Latham operates throughout the UK and Ireland and is a supplier of cutting-edge materials technologies. Exploring the development of exterior cladding, James Latham’s specialist cladding division Dresser Mouldings collaborated with coatings and modified wood experts to produce a factory finished exterior cladding range with outstanding performance.
The innovative cladding collection is a result of two years of product development and provides an effective solution for peeling paint and lifting finishes on timber cladding panels.
