The customer, experienced in brick and block renovation, wanted to use SIPs for a new garden room. This was because he heard about their superior airtightness and insulation properties.
The builder and customer found many advantages: the build was:
– much quicker – the structure was up in two days despite a downpour of rain on day ‘one’
– project ran smoothly and on time
– far cleaner – no cement spillages and brick dust
The project left the customer delighted with an all-year dream garden room
The garden room is a really well-insulated, modern, light-filled 4 x 5 m space which the customer is using all year round with very little need for heating. It has toilet, sink, TV, hard internet, Wi-Fi and beer pumps installed, as well as a convertible pool table/dining table.
