High-performance aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling from Senior Architectural Systems have helped create a stunning glazing package for a new residential development in Solihull.
The Brambles is a new apartment complex that forms part of the established Blythe Valley Park, a mixed-use scheme featuring residential, commercial, industrial and leisure buildings. Developed by IM Properties and designed by architects C&W Tamworth (formerly West Hart Partnership), Senior’s aluminium fenestration solutions provide the perfect frame for the apartment’s far-reaching views of the surrounding 122 acres of mature parkland.
The specification
Comprising four separate residential buildings, The Brambles forms part of the development’s new Neighbourhood Centre. Senior’s thermally-efficient double glazed SPW600 aluminium windows create a comfortable interior environment for the residents, with the complementary SPW600 aluminium doors featuring in both the main entrances and balcony areas.
As well as providing low U-values and the potential to reduce energy bills, the SPW600 suites of thermally-broken aluminium windows and doors are both safe and secure and are fully compliant with the requirements of Secured By Design.
To complete the fenestration package, Senior’s slimline and thermally-enhanced SF52 aluminium curtain wall system feature on two of the buildings which accommodate ground-floor retail space.
