The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers has joined the Trade Association Forum (TAF), the body representing trade associations in the UK.
Simon Forrester, GAI Chief Executive, says: “We are very pleased to be a part of TAF as, just like the GAI, it is committed to delivering a high level of benefits and support for its members.
“TAF offers unrivalled links to UK Government, and we are pleased to add our voice to the work it does demonstrating that associations like GAI make a vital contribution to the UK economy – raising standards, identifying and promoting best practice, and championing excellence in their sectors.”
The Guild will attend the TAF Best Practice Exchange in June, a chance to engage with other trade associations to discuss trends, challenges and opportunities.
Simon adds: “By engaging with our peers throughout the trade association sector, we will be better placed to design and deliver an ever-greater range of services across our three pillars of education, technical standards and community.”
