IG appoints experienced commercial director

IG Lintels announces the appointment of Caroline Meredith as its new Commercial Director. The appointment is in support of the company’s ongoing growth strategy; achieved by delivering sustainable business and continually improving its customer service. 

Caroline has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, working for IG Lintels since 1979. She is a skilled and practised Commercial Manager, making her the company’s clear choice to fulfil the position of Commercial Director.

In her new role, Caroline will continue to develop the company’s commercial strategy and build relationships with teams and customers, including architects, housebuilders, developers and distributors.

Experience

Caroline brings a wealth of experience to her position; previous positions include Sales Office Team Leader, Customer Service Manager, Commercial Office Manager and General Manager before her progression to Commercial Director. She has extensive experience across Sales, Order Processing, Customer Service, Technical Administration and Credit Control. Having grown her career within IG Lintels, she has an intimate knowledge of the business, and how its systems, processes and departments function.  

Caroline comments: “I’m delighted to have been appointed Commercial Director at IG Lintels. We are a customer-orientated business and I’ve had great pleasure over the years helping and supporting our customers and establishing long term relationships.

Caroline also holds qualifications in Executive Coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming in Business; bringing her coaching and mentoring skills to the role.

She adds: “The continuous innovation within the Keystone Group is very exciting. My ambition is to continue to grow and develop the IG Lintels team by promoting an environment of continuous improvement to support growth within the organisation. Succession planning and internal talent spotting is very important to me and I think it is key to a successful business.”
