Property experts PCA celebrated at national awards

  • 10 Aug 2022

Experts in key specialisms including damp and timber, structural waterproofing and Japanese knotweed have been recognised at an industry awards ceremony. National trade body the Property Care Association (PCA) handed out a series of accolades to member businesses and individuals that showcased the highest level of professionalism and knowledge.

The PCA also celebrated technicians and surveyors who received top marks when undergoing industry training, and contractors that have excelled over the past 12 months, as demonstrated at their annual audit.

PCA’s Apprenticeship Trainer, Neil Marsden and Technicians Chief Examiner, Michael Earle were also made Honorary Members of the Association in recognition of their contribution and commitment to the organisation and its work in the industry.

Steve Hodgson, Chief Executive of the PCA, says: “Our members tackle a range of issues that can affect people’s homes and businesses, buildings of national importance or major infrastructure.

“Their talent and skills are highly valued and our 2022 Best Practice Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the expertise and experience of qualified and accredited surveyors and technicians.

“Our members have a crucial role to play in the UK construction industry, and are hugely important to the UK economy.”
