Kestrel sponsors BMF rally team in charity challenge

  • 19 Jan 2023

Kestrel is raising the flag on 2023 by supporting the BMF team in a charity rally challenge that will see them travel along some of Europe’s greatest roads – in a £500 car.

The four-day rally starts in Ghent and moves to Milan before ending in glitzy Monte Carlo, and the BMF team are hoping to raise £15,000 for four charities including British Heart Foundation, Crash, Rainy Day Trust and children’s charity Variety.

But before they hit the road, the BMF team’s first challenge will be to find a road-worthy car for less than £500 capable of making the epic journey.

Owen Thorogood, Kestrel sales and marketing director, says: “We are delighted to be able to support the BMF with this challenge, which is raising money for some excellent charities.

“I personally can’t wait to see the £500 car which is going to make this epic journey. I have a feeling it will be a nail-biting journey to Monte Carlo!”

The Pavestone UK Rally, which takes place in September, has been running for four years, raising a total of £450,000 for charity.

Oz Bham, who is one of the four-strong BMF team taking part in the rally, says: “We are looking forward to taking part and raising money for four amazing charities and this would not be possible without the generous support from Kestrel.”

The Pavestone UK rally takes place in September, so there is plenty of time to get behind the BMF team as they gear up for the challenge. To find out how to sponsor the team, click the link.
