With two decades in the building products industry, starting out in steel, you could say Kestrel’s new business development manager for the North East has proved his mettle in sales.
Daniel Baxter, who is based near the company’s Scunthorpe site, has a strong belief in providing good quality customer service. It’s that focus that has led him to Kestrel.
Daniel comments: “I believe it’s really important to stand by the customer. It’s something I feel very strongly, and it was one of things that attracted me to Kestrel, as they have built a solid reputation for quality, long guarantees, and reliability.”
Daniel has wasted no time on getting on the road to meet customers, traveling across the North East and Scotland.
Daniel adds: “One of the best parts of this job is getting to meet customers, no two days are ever the same, and that makes the role interesting.”
Outside of work, Daniel is a former DJ and keen musician, making and uploading his own tracks, and confesses to spending ‘far too much time’ in the gym. His main love, though, is carpentry – “I love the methodical nature of crafting something from wood, it’s good for the mind!”
Owen Thorogood, Kestrel’s sales and marketing director, comments: “Daniel has a wealth of industry experience and with his background, I’m sure that he will be an excellent addition to the Kestrel team.”
Kestrel’s range includes more than 800 UPVC building products, with guarantees from 10 years on grain products through to an extended 35-year non-diminishing guarantee on white profiles when fitted by a registered installer.
Kestrel holds certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BES 6001.
