Stocksigns Ltd. has been selected as the primary signage supplier for J. Murphy and Sons Ltd. The shared values of both companies were a vital reason for the new partnership, specifically with regard to sustainable practices. This means Stocksigns will now supply all temporary and permanent construction site signage for the international contractor.
Murphy is a specialist engineering and construction company operating in the UK, Ireland and Canada, working across a variety of infrastructure sectors. The company is currently working to adopt more environmentally friendly construction methods and lower its carbon footprint, as outlined in its Sustainability Strategy.
As part of this strategy, Murphy selected Stocksigns as its preferred supplier for all permanent and temporary construction signage. Furthermore, Stocksigns will supply internal signs for the Murphy offices and has created a catalogue of the company’s branded signage.
Natalie Ovenden, at Murphy, comments: “We are delighted to select Stocksigns as our preferred supplier for our site safety signage. “Stocksigns provides high-quality products and a quick, personable service.
“Like us, the team has sustainability at the top of their agenda and share a number of other values with us. I think our two organisations fit together really well.”
Working to reach Net Zero by 2030, Stocksigns is a proactive company, offering sustainable alternatives to traditional signage materials, offsetting all its carbon emissions through global initiatives and is committed to minimal manufacturing waste.
Daniella de Nobrega, Group Marketing Manager at Stocksigns, comments: “We’re incredibly proud to be working with a company that is as passionate about sustainability as we are.
“We recently attended the Murphy Supply Chain Awards and took part in a roundtable discussion on improving sustainability for Murphy and its suppliers, which was really valuable. We look forward to a lasting partnership where we can do our part to help the team to achieve their goals.”
