CCF strengthens its bond with the FIS as director is re-elected to the board

CCF Key Account Director Stuart Roberts has been re-elected to continue in his position as a board member with the Finishes and Interiors Sector (FIS) after being successfully voted in by its members.

Stuart has been a valued member of the FIS board for almost four years and following his re-election, will continue to play a key role in the future development of the interiors sector by helping the FIS to set and meet its own strategic targets.

The board comprises a cross-section of knowledgeable individuals from across the sector and the supply chain, with Stuart bringing with him over 40 years’ experience of working in the interiors, building finishes and distribution markets.

Stuart says: “I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to continue to support the FIS at board level and to contribute to the key issues that affect the interior sectors and the wider construction industry as a whole.

“Many of our direct customers are members of the FIS and I am grateful for all the support I have received to secure my re-election. This is a challenging time for the industry, with lots of work to do, and I am pleased to be continue to be a part of these discussions.”

About the FIS

FIS is a non-profit representative body for the UK’s finishes and interiors market, with a growing membership community of contractors, manufacturers and distributors covering a variety of products and skill sets from ceilings, drylining and plastering to companies specialising in steel framing systems and refurbishment projects.

The organisation, with strategic support from its board, aims to support its members by improving safety, minimising risk, enhancing productivity and driving innovation in the sector.

The FIS holds an annual election for its board members, with the results announced at its AGM event.
