  • 1 Oct 2024

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions UK & Ireland has announced its sponsorship of the Ballymacash Rangers Football Club Under 8s team. This has seen the company providing new football kits for the players, supporting local youth development within the Lisburn community.

The new kits were presented to the Under 8s team by Mark Spence from ASSA ABLOY, who is also a volunteer coach at the club. The sponsorship not only provides essential equipment but also emphasises the shared goal of promoting youth engagement and athletic growth within the local community.

Ballymacash Rangers is an up-and-coming intermediate football club, known for its strong focus on youth development. The club has made progress in recent years, both in its performance and in expanding youth development programmes.

With a dedicated youth academy, of which some members of ASSA ABLOY are actively involved in, the club offers structured coaching and mentorship to aspiring young players. The academy’s mission is to instil a sense of discipline, teamwork, and resilience, preparing its members for success both on and off the pitch.

Brian Sofley, Managing Director at ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions, says: “We’re proud to support Ballymacash Rangers and their work with young players. Investing in youth sports helps build strong communities, and we’re excited to be part of that.
