Abloy UK welcomes Adam Triggs as National Sales Manager for IT Intercoms Systems

Abloy UK further strengthens its team with the appointment of Adam Triggs as National Sales Manager for IT Intercoms Systems.

Adam joins the company with 27 years of experience in the electronic security industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge and an established network of partners to lead the UK launch of the recently acquired DoorBird video door entry system.

DoorBird, a renowned German manufacturer of video door entry solutions, has been at the forefront of the market within Europe and North America for over a decade. Abloy’s acquisition of DoorBird marks an exciting expansion of its portfolio, complementing its existing digital access control products.

In his new role, Adam will take charge of sales efforts for DoorBird in the UK. His extensive background in security systems – ranging from biometrics, video door entry systems and access control – equips him with the expertise necessary to guide the solutions’ successful introduction into the UK market.

This aligns with Abloy’s strategy of offering advanced, cost-effective solutions to multiple vertical markets such as the water industry, the education sector and various multi-occupancy projects.

Unique selling points

This solution offers a couple of unique selling points that set it apart from other video door entry systems. Unlike most manufacturers that require users to buy an internal monitor, DoorBird allows users to manage entry directly through the app without needing extra hardware.
