One of the UK’s largest building envelope contractors has become the latest member of the MCRMA, the association which represents the metal roofing and facades sector.
FK Group is a nationwide building envelope provider which has set itself apart through its full service provision, encompassing roofing, cladding, glazing and maintenance across many sectors. The company has grown sustainably since its foundation in 1979, offering main contractors and clients a complete building envelope service from the conceptual design right through to construction and post-completion maintenance, including for buildings with controlled environments.
The company’s strong collaborative ethos and passion for working with like-minded industry professionals committed to setting ever higher standards for metal building envelopes was key to the FK Group’s decision to become an MCRMA member, as Chris Battersby, Design Director, explains: “Becoming a member of the MCRMA is an important step for our business as it evolves and we strengthen our position as a UK leader in the provision of metal building envelopes.
“Whilst the FK Group may be best known as a roofing and cladding contractor, our FK Premo fabrications division and our FK Resolv. fully insured building safety and remediation business mean we offer a much more comprehensive service to clients and most effectively meet the needs of today’s market.”
Carlton Jones, Director of the MCRMA, comments: “We are delighted to welcome FK Group to our membership, a company we know well and one that is highly respected in the industry.
“Their technical expertise, combined with the team’s decades of experience will add another valuable dimension to our membership, particularly their installation perspectives.”
FK Group is the latest MCRMA member within its ‘systems installers’ category and brings the association’s total number of members to 54.
