Abloy UK has further strengthened its team with the appointment of Adam Cayless and Tom Cowling, who both join the company as Senior Market Development Managers in the Energy and Water sectors respectively.
They will be key leaders in Abloy’s strategy to deliver the next generation of digital and electronic access control solutions to critical infrastructure organisations. They aim to educate customers on the advantages of digital access systems such as reduced costs from eliminating lock replacements, streamlined management with single-key solutions and enhanced security through real-time data insights.
Both Adam and Tom have a wealth of experience in the electronic access solution industry and will use their expertise to strengthen relationships with existing customers and making connections with potential new customers too.
Adam will be focussing on the energy sector, bringing 25 years of experience in access control and technical sales to the role. Having previously owned and operated his own business in the doors and windows industry, his approach to customer relationships is shaped by his perspective from both sides of the table.
Adam says: “Transitioning into this role with Abloy has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Having run my own companies, I bring a different skill set, particularly in understanding customer needs and expectations.
“I can already see huge growth potential in the energy sector, and I’m excited to introduce the benefits of our electronic solutions like CLIQ and BEAT to our partners.”
Tom is concentrating his efforts on the water sector, using his knowledge of security solutions built over an 18-year career. His journey in the security industry began in the field of perimeter security solutions and has included work on high-profile projects with clients such as the MOD and the Olympics.
Tom says: “I’m focused on fostering relationships with our water sector clients and helping them see the value in electronic solutions like CLIQ and BEAT. These innovations offer security, convenience and data-driven insights that can significantly enhance their operations.
“Cloud based solutions are used every day, not just in access control, but also in applications like online banking and file hosting services. I’m keen on educating our existing users on why they’re the future of access control.”
