ABLOY has ranked second in the 2026 brand survey conducted by Finnish market research company Taloustutkimus.

The strong result continues Abloy’s long-standing performance and provides a solid foundation as the company approaches its 120th anniversary in 2027.

ABLOY ranked second among nearly 700 brands in Taloustutkimus’ annual brand appreciation comparison. ABLOY took first place in 2025 and 2024, after placing second in 2023.

A long history comes with a responsibility to renew

Next year, ABLOY will celebrate its 120th anniversary. On the threshold of the anniversary year, the strong ranking brings together the brand’s Finnish heritage, security expertise and continuous renewal.

“For generations, ABLOY has been part of everyday life in Finland. At the same time, security needs are constantly evolving. For us, 120 years is not only about a long history. It also means taking responsibility for developing solutions that create security, safety and trust for the future,” Johanna Varis continues.

Nearly 700 brands evaluated by Finns

In Taloustutkimus’ annual brand appreciation survey, Finnish consumers rate the brands they know according to how much they value them. The 2026 survey covered 693 brands in 84 product categories.

The five most valued brands in Finland in 2026 were:

  1. S-Etukortti (S Group’s co-op membership card)
  2. ABLOY
  3. Hyvää Suomesta (Produce of Finland label)
  4. Lego
  5. Fiskars

In addition to appreciation, the survey examines factors including brand awareness, usage, recommendation, attractiveness, price and brand perceptions, emotions evoked by brands and customer satisfaction.
