Shackerley, the UK manufacturer of ceramic granite ventilated façade systems, has been announced as the latest exhibitor at this year’s Surface & Materials show.
Shackerley will showcase its ceramic granite cladding at the show as part of UK Construction week. The event is scheduled to take place at the Birmingham NEC from 6 – 11 October 2015.
The Surface & Materials show aims to promote the most innovative systems, performance materials and aesthetic finishes from across the world of surfaces and materials.
This year it will include Shackerley’s ventilated cladding, which in recent years has extended its offering to include engineered stone and crystallised glass.
The company supplies its award-winning Sureclad ventilated façades as complete, installation-ready systems. The cladding is fully prefabricated at its ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing facilities in Lancashire.
Each Sureclad façade has been developed with undercut anchorage to provide a robust, secure and safe method of mechanically fixing the panels to the façade support system.
The systems meet all UK requirements (CWCT and NHBC) for ventilated façades. They have also been deemed suitable for use in earthquake zones after being subjected to extensive seismic testing in the United States.
Shackerley Chief, Brian G Newell, commented: “Ventilated cladding is our core business and we are continuously developing new ways to use fully vitrified ceramic granite, engineered stone and other large format materials to enhance and protect the exterior envelope.
“At the show, our specialist technical team will be on hand to provide expert knowledge and support, whatever the specification or installation challenge.”
The Surface & Materials show will focus on product innovations and technical expertise enriched by an informative seminar schedule featuring debates, workshops and panel discussions.
Shackerley’s Brian G Newell will be in attendance at the event, presenting a seminar discussing ceramic ventilated cladding on Tuesday 6th October at 12:00.
