Vinyl flooring fitted for contemporary office renovation

  • 3 Sep 2015

Vinyl flooring from Polyflor‘s Classic Mystique PUR and Expona Design ranges has been used to create a modern office environment for Analog Devices.

Analog Devices’ regional headquarters is located in Co. Limerick, Republic of Ireland. The offices were renovated to create a contemporary working environment as part of a multi-million Euro project.

Polyflor’s vinyl flooring was supplied by Provincial Floorcoverings for use in the project; the installation was carried out by Southern Mosaics of Ennis, Co. Clare.

Polyflor’s Classic Mystique PUR sheet vinyl flooring was installed within the office’s canteen.

It was specified in two grey shades – Silver Mist 1430 and Nocturne 1380 – to provide a neutral background for the facility’s vibrant furniture and serving stations.

The two colours were laid to create different zones and pathways throughout the canteen’s serving and seating areas.

Designed as a hardwearing homogeneous floorcovering, Classic Mystique is available in 16 different shades.

In addition, 300 square metres of Expona Design PUR vinyl tiles were fitted in the tea and coffee stations, which are situated around the office.

A linear, silver toned Light Contour 7214 design was selected to complement the surrounding grey carpet tiles.

The Expona Design LVT collection has been specifically designed for use in heavy commercial environments, such as Analog Devices’ offices.

Overall, the range comprises 28 wood, stone and abstract design options.

Recyclable and UV cured

Similarly to the Classic Mystique range, Polyflor’s Expona Design series is enhanced with its polyurethane reinforcement, PUR.

PUR is cross-linked and UV cured, offering enhanced cleaning benefits, which is ideal in areas at risk of food and drink spillages.

Each flooring features recycled content; they can be recycled through the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme, which is supported by Polyflor.
