A leading independent insurance broker is looking to push transparency surrounding the true cost of commercial insurance products with the launch of its True Cost of Business Insurance campaign.
BusinessInsure has launched the movement to ensure companies are fully informed about the costs of different payment options.
The True Cost of Business Insurance also aims to make small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) aware of the importance of making an informed decision when considering buying packages upfront or paying by instalments.
The campaign coincides with the results of a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) review into the provision of finance for insurance packages.
The investigation concluded that certain insurers and insurance intermediaries are not providing customers with clear information about the different payment options when buying insurance products.
As a result, many SMEs fail to recognise the substantial difference between paying costs upfront or by instalments, which can incur additional fees.
In the coming months, BusinessInsure will provide a comprehensive stream of information on its Knowledge Centre section of its website.
Its team of specialist advisors are also making themselves available to business owners looking for the best options for their needs.
Managing Director Paul Roach commented on the campaign: “The aim of the True Cost of Business Insurance campaign is to help small to medium-sized businesses with the cost of monthly insurance by giving them the most appropriate and thorough guidance possible.
At Businessinsure, we have a truly knowledgeable and experienced team who provide a personalised experience to all our customers.
The Knowledge Centre section we’ve built within our website will give us the ability to pass this knowledge on to a much wider audience letting them understand what insurance they need and also the true cost of their business insurance.”
