Recognising commitment to preventing accidents in the workplace, the RoSPA Award scheme is open to business of all types and sizes across the UK and overseas.
Roan provides a fast-tracked modern method of construction, with many of its projects involving the community; health and safety is an important consideration for the company.
Roan’s procedures, such as ensuring its on-site team wear numbered shirts to be easily identifiable, are enforced rigorously to ensure safety on site.
Roan also has various practices in place to prevent pollution, injury and ill-health through the team.
The RoSPA Award scheme assesses a company’s accident records, in addition to health and safety management including important factors such as leadership and workforce involvement.
It encourages improvement in occupational health and safety management; organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems contribute to raising standards overall.
The award will to be presented to Roan at RoSPA’s annual ceremony which will be held at the Hilton Glasgow on September 17.
