The sessions will explore topics from movement in the workplace, through to the issues that leading women figures face in the furniture industry. Humanscale will also be showcasing its latest designs in an event hosted by international designer Todd Bracher.
The first day will begin with a session focusing on cultivating a movement oriented mind-set in the workplace; working towards improved health, vitality and wellness.
Creating a dynamic movement environment will take place from 10am-11am, and will teach visitors the benefits yielded to those who move more at work: mitigated stress, a heightened sense of wellbeing and happiness and improved health and performance.
In the evening, Humanscale will host a panel discussion, On the Move chaired by Onoffice editor Helen Parton, which will look at how movement can improve staff wellbeing.
A panel discussion titled Women in Property II – The Wilderness Years is scheduled from 1pm-2pm and will revisit Humanscale’s Women In Property debate from 2014.
In general a woman’s lot within the property industry is much improved; however, there is still a risk of their careers floundering in their 30s. Chaired by Clare Dowdy, Design Journalist for the Financial Times, the panel will debate why this happens and what can be done about it.
From 6pm-8pm visitors will have the opportunity to see Humanscale’s Global Roadshow 2015, which will showcase the latest designs and innovations with designer Todd Bracher.
During the Roadshow, Humanscale will launch the Trea chair, which was recently awarded the Best of the Best Red Dot Award for Top Design Quality and Ground breaking technology.
The final day will begin with White Collar Tales. Disegno and RIBA London have created the event with the support of Humanscale for the London Festival of Architecture in June.
From 9am-10am, people will be invited for breakfast to discuss their favourite office fiction, with nominations from key figures in architecture and design.
Humanscale’s line up will finish with its closing party from 7pm-11pm, which is strictly invitation only.
