As one of the UK’s premier rail engineering and construction companies, safety is an important consideration for VolkerFitzpatrick.

TraffiGlove’s safety gloves offer different levels of cut protection to suit a range of projects

Whilst working on London’s Thameslink Hornsey project, the company needed to ensure that its workers were adequately protected with appropriate safety gloves.

TraffiGlove’s TG122 Agile, TG142 Traction, TG385 Grafter and TG595 Glaze were specified to provide different levels of cut protection.

PPE safety gloves

All of TraffiGlove’s products are tested in accordance with EN 388 standards. They are examined on a scale of 1 to 5 for blade cut resistance and and 1 to 4 for abrasion resistance, tear resistance and puncture resistance.

These tests certify that the gloves are reliable, hard wearing and suitable for an array of jobs.

TraffiGlove established its three-colour coding system in 2008; it was developed to help the reduction of hand accidents across a range of industries.
