The company provides employment opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged people

Around 60% of its team have disabilities or health conditions but Newco’s approach to employment builds confidence amongst the workforce, enhances skill sets and allows people to build long lasting careers.

The level of care put into training the workforce means that Newco customers receive high quality products at competitive prices.

First established in 1922 to provide occupational training and work opportunities for ex-soldiers following the First World War, the social enterprise company has become a major contractor supplying and fitting PVCu windows, doors and kitchen units.

Kitchen units are manufactured from recycled Urban Forest wood to provide a sustainable alternative to other wood products, whilst Newco’s factory waste is sorted at Licensed Waste Transfer Stations and 90%of it is surplus.

Newco’s customer base extends across construction contractors, developers, councils, public sector bodies and housing associations.
