  • 3 Jun 2015

The workshops are designed to introduce installers to biomass technology, and offers an exclusive look at the new Herz Firematic 499kW boiler – described as the most compact wood chip boiler in the world for its output level.

The workshops will take place at Rural Energy’s Biomass Training & Skills Centre in Melton Mowbray

Rural Energy’s engineering experts and Product Training Manager will be hosting two free workshops per day at 10am and 2pm respectively. Alternatively, visitors can partake in a simple ‘Walk and Talk’ session if time is an issue.

Paul Clark, Managing Director of Rural Energy, commented: “With the sector booming, biomass engineers are enjoying an abundance of work and earning potential is increasing significantly.”

“The workshops will also give visitors a chance to find out more about biomass and how to become a Herz installer. In addition to this, the release of the new Herz Firematic 499kW is very exciting as we believe it offers an extremely practical, efficient and cost effective solution that is completely unique in the market.”

Compact boiler

Due to its high performance cyclonic filtration, the Herz Firematic 499kW wood chip boiler does not require a cyclone – resulting in a more compact, energy efficient boiler..

The boiler has a 3kW rating on its three phase electrical supply, and a water capacity of 1,145 litres. In addition, its touchscreen remote control system makes the Herz Firematic 499kW easy to operate.

Rural Energy’s biomass open days are available to book by calling 0203 667 7790 or via email.
