The team has carried out roofing works, stone repairs and repointing to chimneys on Keele Hall whilst also working on the restoring its gutters.
The Grade II listed building, which is part of Keele University, has historical value and meaning.
To ensure that the building’s history is adequately highlighted, the team has moved older roof tiles to the front of the building and installed new tiles further towards the back.
The Hall’s damaged roof tiles have been completely replaced.
A fabric frontage, which features an image of the building, has also been fixed over the scaffolding.
This has been done to ensure that the venue maintains its aesthetic appeal whilst the refurbishment is taking place.
Novus will also be working on the refurbishment of the Hall’s ballroom, courtyard and lakeside elevations. The company has made sure its working schedule does not clash with the venue’s upcoming events that include a variety of weddings and functions.
The team has promised to tidy the site and vacate it before guests are scheduled to arrive at the events.
