GTC will provide gas, electricity and fibre-to-the-home infrastructure networks to the popular Bellway Homes development.
As a result of the utility providers partnership with Sky, residents will have the opportunity to benefit from a premium TV services package from Sky and fixed-line home phone and broadband speeds of up to 300Mbps courtesy of GTC.
Both services will be available to new homeowners from the day they move into the property.
The Kings Mead development, situated on the outskirts of Reading town centre on Kenavon Drive, includes the construction of 192 properties, ranging from 1 bedroom flats to 4 bedroom detached houses.
Claire McGolddrick, Bellway Homes Area Sales Manager, stated that the partnership plays an essential role in creating a high standard of modern living.
GTC will run fibre optic cables directly into each property and will install a Fibre Integrated Reception System (FIRS) to deliver Sky’s TV services, which include Sky and HD.
The FIRS is comprised of a central satellite receiver and aerial array, which is essential for providing the service.
Tom Brough, Sales & Marketing Director at GTC commented, By providing the site with a superior fibre-to-the-home infrastructure, we are ensuring that homeowners can enjoy the very best in broadband, for both now and in the future.
Director of Sky Homes Paul Dickinson said the company was delighted to be providing its television services to the Kings Mead development.
