Emergency lighting testing system launched by Advanced

Advanced’s new emergency lighting testing system, Lux Intelligent, offers cloud monitoring and mobile management features

Lux Intelligent has been developed as an automatic emergency lighting testing system which can show when emergency lighting is functional and compliant with BS5266-1.

The system can be networked onto existing wiring and luminaries, allowing for easy installation.

It features cloud monitoring and system management through mobile and web apps: the cloud secures test data whilst the system delivers live details on status, faults and test failures to smartphones and web browsers.

This enables users to monitor their sites on a variety of devices from wherever they are in the world.

The system can be fitted in one panel or network formats.

Networks can be standard cable, allowing 200 panels to be networked to cover large or multiple sites.

Customers can also use their own LAN or wireless networks if they prefer; Lux Intelligent has been designed as compatible with any existing system, including central battery.

It works with a wide range of lights, including LEDs, with each four-loop panel supporting almost 250 luminaries.

Once installed, the panels require only a three year battery check, allowing for ease of maintenance.
