Touch screen fire system repeater and terminal from Advanced

  • 15 Jul 2015

TouchControl capitalises on a 10” HD touch screen to deliver panel and network control and monitoring, in addition to dynamic graphics and zone plans through its Active Maps feature.

Active Maps

Active Maps allows any image from a technical drawing, zone plan, photograph, or Google map to be used to display fire information.

It provides multiple views that allow users to interrogate the status of zones in a site from different angles or scales.

When not used in Active Map view, the system features a colour-coded interface which displays device, zone and network information, using the touch screen to facilitate easy control and interrogation.

This enables users to immediately identify zones and devices in fire, fault, disablement, test or normal operation.

Low profile design

TouchControl operates as a network node in its own right, working in standard or fault tolerant modes.

Designed to be recessed and flush fitting, it features a low profile design and can be used in any areas where network control, aesthetics or simply communicated detailed information are required.

The touch screen device also includes the ability for users to add presentations, company introductions, visitor boards or safety information to run when the fire screen is not reporting fire system information.

User control and compatibility

TouchControl uses Advanced’s three levels of user control.

Depending on the level of access users can perform a multitude of features accessed via passcode.

The device is compatible with Advanced’s MxPro4 and 5 panels and Axis EN and Axis AU Fire Systems, with more to follow.
