Based in Clay Cross, Chesterfield, the division has grown significantly since its formation. Initially only focusing on its Spectraplan TPE roofing membrane, IKO Polymeric now considers itself a ‘one-stop shop’ for high-performance waterproofing solutions, with a range of single ply roofing systems including its Armourplan PVC membrane.
IKO Polymeric: 10 Years of Innovation
Due to its strong growth, IKO Polymeric opened a purpose-built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in 2010. Since then a number of divisions have been created, including International Exports, a Prefabrication Department and a Specialised Products division for non-roofing applications.
IKO Polymeric Managing Director Anthony Carlyle comments: We’re extremely proud of our success in the last 10 years. From a division of three people when it first opened, we now employ more than 80!
Clay Cross is running at full capacity producing millions of metres of membrane every year. We’re continuing to invest and plan to increase capacity in 2016. We look forward with confidence to the next 10 years!
