Participants were tasked with creating an interior design solution for the home environment or for public and commercial spaces using one or more colours from the new black tones of DuPont Corian, made with DeepColour Technology and consisting of Deep Nocturne, Deep Night Sky, Deep Black Quartz and Deep Anthracite.

The projects were judged on creativity and innovation, functionality, aesthetic value, environmental sustainability, selling point, its potential as a commercial project and the appropriate application of decoration and modification techniques.

The Winner of the Professional category, Anna Strupinskaya from Russia, designed a ‘Coco’ Tub’ for the bathroom, with the Deep Nocturn colour used for the matt outer surface alongside a sleek white inner part to create a combination of comfort and elegance.

Natalia Strekalovskaya of Belarus won the Students category with her ‘Universal Wall Panel,’ which can be used in residential and public buildings to create attractive interior d_cor using the DeepColour Technology.

Representative from the architecture and design community, industry and media, as well as specialists from DuPont Corian were on the judging panel and a ‘popular jury’ made up of Facebook fans contributed to the voting.
