Benoy’s Victoria Square in Woking

The unanimous detailed planning approval for Victoria Square will move forward this mixed-use, retail-led development.

Victoria Square is the first new external public space for a generation that will bring new life and energy, creating a gateway to the town and significantly improving the public realm,

The scheme will include:

  • 6,000m2 Marks & Spencer store
  • 4-Star hotel with conference facilities set within a 21-storey tower
  • residential apartments housed within a 34-storey tower
  • another 30-storey tower and medical centre
  • two new public plazas

David Ellis, Benoy Director and London Studio Head: “It is always an important moment when a project receives approval; it signals the start of the hard work and the beginning of the realisation of the vision for Woking. The Victoria Square development is an exciting project with a multitude of retail, entertainment and food and beverage options which we believe will entice residents and visitors to Woking and encourage them to shop, explore and enjoy the heart of the town”.

Victoria Square scheme is a key part of the wider Town Centre Masterplan.

Benoy is also responsible for the on-going re-configuration projects within both the Peacock Centre and Wolsey Place.
