Fire Systems Ltd were commissioned to engineer and install a system that would not damage the fabric of the historic building, but would also provide a high level of fire protection to staff and students.

The system used Argus open protocol fire data communications with Argus wireless detectors to produce a solution that doesn’t require unsightly cables and doesn’t affect the traditional appearance of the building.

The £1.5m building renovation included specialist science laboratories, an art suite, music school and all weather play area for more than 130 students at the independent school.

Kentec’s fire control panels have been installed in a variety of heritage buildings including galleries, government buildings and Royal palaces to allow for the highest level of fire protection with minimal impact on the fabric.
