Surface mounted fire control panels have been added to Kentec’s Sigma CP range
A new range of surface mounted panels have been added as a further extension to Kentec’s Sigma CP series of fire control panels. The new panels include the Line Continuity Monitoring Unit (LCMU), an end-of-line device with enhanced safety properties.
The device allows the signal of a fault to be sent directly to the panel if a detector head is removed without hindering the operation of following devices. This ensures that the product compliments Apollo and Hochiki’s diode type detector bases.
Other features of the range include a zone check facility that assesses disabled zones and warns a user if it is still in fire, ensuring that a dangerous zone is not re-enabled.
The Kentec Sigma CP range, which is certified to BS EN54-2 and BS EN54-4, is available in a two, four or eight zone format.
