Electrical certificates can now be created via mobile devices

  • 18 Nov 2014

Designed by electrical industry experts, the software does not require paperwork and utilises a range of data capture techniques to collect all of the information required to complete inspection, installation and testing tasks.

The app includes templates for Condition Report Inspection Schedule; Electrical Installation Condition Report; Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate; Electrical Installation Certificate; Generic Schedule of Test Results and Schedule of Inspections.

Features include an e-signature tool to reduce the need for repeat site visits, whilst a PAF postcode look-up means forms can be geographically tied to a property and addresses are automatically filled in.

Calculations are completed with pre-built formulas to ensure accuracy and E-Cert validates all data fields to allow electricians to submit a completed certificate once all data has been completed.

PDFs for each certificate can be printed for records, whilst Stroma also provides secure document storage through the software in order to protect all data collected on site.

Electricians who are members of Stroma’s Part P certification membership scheme can download E-Cert free of charge, whilst non-members can obtain the software for a price of £199.
