What is EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) verification?

standardised way of assessing the full environmental impact of a product through its lifespan from raw materials and manufacturing to application, use and disposal
EPDs are independently tested to strict standards to ensure the underlying data, data handling and EPD itself are consistently reliable
credibility of an EPD which meets EN 15804 enables specifiers and architects to specify products in keeping with environmental standards set by BREEAM and LEED

Johnstone’s verified EN 15804 EPD allows architects to accurately compare competing materials from an environmental perspective and enables contractors and building owners to comply with government rules.
