Located on BRE’s Innovation Park in Watford, the Wienerberger e4 brick house has been developed to provide an answer to the mounting questions surrounding the future of housing in the UK.

The concept for the house was developed to address the need for affordable, sustainable housing in the UK. Designed in conjunction with ARUP, the e4 brick house model focuses on energy, economy, environment and emotion.
Johnstone’s is the first decorative coating manufacturer to receive certification which complies with the European Standard EN 15804. The EPD verification allows architects to accurately compare competing materials from an environmental perspective.
