In recent months, Wetherby has supplied over 1.5 million of its new EpsiBrick-7 brick slips to new builds and UK refurbishment projects.
The rise is due to the increased pressure that is being put on house builders.
With industry bodies having announced that at least 200,000 new homes must be built in the UK each year, house builders must complete their projects on time.
They cannot afford the delays that are being created by the brick shortage as they must wait for their building materials for lengthy periods of time.
By using Wetherbys EpsiBrick-7 brick slip, a traditional brick appearance can be achieved in reduced time.
The system has been designed to enable builders to complete their projects on time without having to compromise on the buildings appearance.
Wetherby makes its EpsiBrick-7 system using the same processes that traditional brick manufacturers use.
The product is fired and manufactured in the same way as clay bricks to produce an authentic brick finish rather than an acrylic imitation.
The EpsiBrick-7 brick slip system is available in 10 different colour finishes.
