Chillers supplied with performance data over wider product range
Customers will now be provided with certified chiller performance data over a wider product and capacity range than what is currently covered by the Eurovent certification.
Daikin’s range of air and water-cooled chillers feature on the Energy Technologies List, although the AHRI certification is recognised at international level.
AHRI certifies the chillers performance and the manufacturer’s selection software, providing evidence that the tested performance matches the selection software data output.
The differences between Eurovent and AHRI certification
The Eurovent standard scope for air-cooled chillers is 0-600 kW cooling capacity, with a possibility to extend to 1,500kW (50Hz only) AHRI certified from 0-2, 220kW (50 & 60Hz)
Water-cooled chillers have a Eurovent standard of 0-1,500kW cooling capacity (50Hz only, whereas AHRI certifies from 700-8, 790kW at 50Hz and 0-10,500kW at 60Hz.
