Daikin’s range of ZEAS and Multi-ZEAS refrigeration condensing units are supplied by Space Airconditioning
The new ZEAS condensing units, which are based on Daikin’s Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) technology, are designed to be suitable for applications requiring lower temperatures that range from -45°C to 10°C.
Deep-freezing and industrial cooling zones can be operated simultaneously in a single ZEAS condensing unit, making it an integrated solution designed to ease the installation process, as other system components, hardware and condensers do not have to be added or combined.
Designed to be compact and quiet, Multi-ZEAS units provide an antidote to established racking systems as they can be connected in a master and slave fashion, removing the need for excessive piping and making connections straightforward.
The units are also insulated to reduce sound emissions and include a quieter night-time setting.
Targeting facilities with high energy-efficiency requirements, such as supermarkets, restaurants and cold storage, the ZEAS refrigeration condensing units feature an EC inverter control that has an economiser function, which has been included to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
The ZEAS condensing units also have controls that possess the ability to communicate with external monitoring or building management systems through Daikin’s Modbus interface.
